Manufacturing Process Support Engineer

Agilent seeks a Manufacturing Process Support Engineer to optimize gas chromatography column and consumables production at the Folsom facility. The role involves process improvement, quality troubleshooting, new product introductions, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance manufacturing efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities

Support daily manufacturing operations and resolve technical production and quality issues through root cause analysis
Lead new product introductions and technology transfers from development to production
Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve quality, productivity, and cost
Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including SOPs, work instructions, BOMs, and ERP records
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using operational excellence methodologies and partner with cross-functional teams

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related technical field
4+ years of laboratory, manufacturing engineering, or related experience
Hands-on experience with gas and/or liquid chromatography principles and troubleshooting
Demonstrated proficiency in process improvement and root cause analysis techniques
Strong analytical, project management, and cross-functional communication skills
Preferred: Experience with new product introduction and ERP systems
Preferred: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or regulated manufacturing environments

Compensation: $110,424–$172,538 base plus bonus, stock, and benefits
