Financial Controller

Advanced Personnel Resources is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Controller on behalf of a growing organization in the Piedmont Triad. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a collaborative leadership team and play a key role in driving the company's financial strategy and day-to-day accounting operations. Position Highlights Direct Hire Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Responsibilities Lead all accounting and financial operations. Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning. Manage month-end and year-end close processes. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls. Coordinate annual audits and financial reporting. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets. Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team. Partner with executive leadership to support strategic business decisions. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changing priorities. Highly numbers-driven with exceptional attention to detail. Strong communication and leadership skills. Team-oriented personality with the ability to build strong working relationships. Preferred Qualifications CPA or CMA designation. Experience managing an accounting or finance team. ERP or enterprise accounting software experience. Experience overseeing external audits.
