Senior Accountant

What You'll Do As the Senior Accountant, you'll play a key role in the accounting and finance team by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting while supporting strategic business initiatives. Responsibilities include: Manage and maintain the general ledger for multiple entities. Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Perform bank reconciliations and support treasury reporting. Assist with month-end and year-end close activities. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies. Partner with leaders across the organization to provide financial analysis and recommendations. Assist with annual audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience. Manufacturing, distribution, construction, or related industry experience is preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. Experience with ERP systems (QuickBooks Online OR Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
