Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Welder for our client. This position is responsible for performing MIG welding, inspecting completed welds, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Perform MIG welding on metal components and assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
• Set up welding equipment and prepare materials for fabrication.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
• Measure, fit, and align parts prior to welding.
• Operate hand tools, grinders, and other fabrication equipment.
• Maintain welding equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and measuring tools.
• Experience with grinders, hand tools, and metal fabrication equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Welding certification is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Communication skills.
