Compensation Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)- $22.00-$23.00/hour depending on shift desired. Work Schedule First (1st) shift from 7:00 am-3:00 pm Monday through Friday. Onsite role based in Plymouth, MN. Second (2nd) shift from 3:00 pm-11:00 pm Monday through Friday. Onsite role based in Plymouth, MN. Third (3rd) shift from 11:00 pm-7:00 am Monday through Friday. Why Placon – You'll Love It Here Hands-on role with opportunities to grow your manufacturing skills Stable, team-oriented production environment Modern equipment and clean facility Competitive pay, benefits, and work-life balance A culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement What You'll Do Set up, operate, and troubleshoot thermoforming and production equipment to meet specifications Ensure efficient machine setup including materials, cycle times, and production output Inspect machinery and tooling prior to operation to ensure readiness Monitor product quality and identify nonconforming materials or defects Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and housekeeping tasks Complete shift documentation and communicate job status during shift handoffs Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and wear proper PPE Collaborate with team members and leadership to resolve production issues What You Bring At least 1 year of manufacturing or related experience Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Basic math skills for measurements and production tasks Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Ability to work independently and follow instructions Preferred Skills Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment Knowledge of quality control or Statistical Process Control (SPC) Strong organization and time management skills Basic computer skills and familiarity with production systems Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs Bending, stooping, reaching, and working in a manufacturing environment Does This Sound Like You?
