Job Summary

A growing commercial construction organization is seeking an experienced Retail Construction Superintendent to oversee retail and commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This is a full-time, on-site direct hire opportunity based in Myrtle Beach, SC or Charlotte, NC.

This role is ideal for a hands-on field leader who enjoys managing fast-paced construction environments, coordinating subcontractors, driving schedules, and ensuring quality work in the field. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily field operations for retail construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to keep projects on schedule and aligned with budget expectations.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, inspectors, and clients throughout the construction process.
- Monitor workmanship, site safety, code compliance, project milestones, and overall construction quality.
- Lead jobsite meetings, coordinate inspections, resolve field issues, and address potential schedule delays.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, project documentation, schedule updates, and field communication.
