Immediate openings available now. Start as soon as 7 days. No previous experience required.
- Provides one-on-one swim instruction with students based on the GSS curriculum.
- Evaluates student progress and submits daily reports.
- Acts as a GSS "ambassador" with parents/guardians on the development of students' swim skills.
- When lifeguarding, maintains attentive position in the pool area at all times.
- Makes rescues and administers first aid/CPR when necessary.
- Provides assistance to students and teachers as needed.
- Enforces safety rules and regulations and follows reporting procedures.
- Attend workshops and in-service training outside of regular working hours.
- Fulfills other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.
- No prior swim experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and have fun is a must
- Ability to work with children
- 16 years or older
- CPR/AED or Lifeguard certification, if you are not already certified it will be provided during training.
- Experience working as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor, camp counselor and/or childcare provider.
