Job Overview A law firm seeks a Business Law Attorney in Timonium, Maryland. The successful candidate will support a diverse client base, advising on legal matters and contributing to business development efforts. Duties Advise clients on entity formation, contracts, compliance, mergers, acquisitions, and corporate governance. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements. Provide legal strategies to minimize risks and promote growth. Represent clients in business disputes and collaborate with litigation teams. Stay informed on changes in business and corporate law. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Contribute to business development through client relationships or new opportunities. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the Maryland Bar; other jurisdictions are a plus. 3-5 years of experience in business, corporate, or transactional law. Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills with a client-focused mindset. Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ideally, a book of business or a track record of originating client matters. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
