Logistics Specialist

Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for a Logistics Specialist to join our Dayton, Ohio team. The position provides an opportunity to join a fast-paced elite team whose primary mission is to support our Nation's War Fighters. The candidate for this position shall be a self-starter who can work independently, unsupervised, and with little guidance. The candidate will have an opportunity to be a member of a world-class team consisting of talented and dedicated engineers, technicians, and professionals who work together to interrupt and challenge the status quo to design and develop state-of-the-art technologies. Duties And Responsibilities We are seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage the shipment and receipts of all products, materials, and supplies. This position will be 100% on-site. Collaborate and communicate with colleagues involved in the shipment and receipt of products. Support projects teams by performing varying tasks including mechanical assembly, material prep for welding, machining or painting. Operate forklift and other lifting equipment to safely move material as required. Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. Create delivery receipts and packing slips. Engage with vendors, as needed. Transfer materials between facilities utilizing company vehicles Pickup and dropoff materials at various vendors withing a 30-mile radius Maintain a high attention to safety, quality and productivity Perform other duties, as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma, GED or equivalent qualification. Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role. Experience operating a forklift. Possess ability to work with your hands and perform tasks independently. Citizenship/Security Clearance U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance required.
