They will be expected to anticipate teacher and scholar needs. They will assist teachers in keeping scholars on task and reinforce procedures consistently using Love & Logic strategies and other school-based programs. They are responsible for keeping documentation on how frequently scholars receive support, the types of interventions provided for scholars, and how scholars are progressing towards grade level goals. They also run our peaceful playground program, supervising scholars during lunch and lunch recess. They will be prompt, maintain good attendance, and be a professional and positive part of our TOPA team. The position runs throughout the school year, is full-time, and requires attendance of two professional development meetings a month on Fridays during the school year.
