About the Role
The Company is in need of a VP Commercial Portfolio Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the company's business portfolio by servicing both prospective and current customers with a range of commercial loans. This includes conducting regular risk reviews, financial statement analysis, and being directly involved in underwriting, document review, and ongoing portfolio management. The role also involves working closely with underwriters to ensure accurate loan write-ups, drafting term sheets, and communicating loan terms with borrowers. Applicants for the VP Commercial Portfolio Manager position at the company should ideally hold a Bachelor's degree and have 5 to 10 years' of experience in commercial lending portfolio management. A strong knowledge of credit and lending policies, as well as proficiency in PC software tools, particularly Microsoft Office, is required. The role demands a candidate with a background in banking financial analysis, strong analytical and underwriting skills, and the ability to effectively manage time and stay organized. Responsibilities also include monitoring loans for revenue opportunities, supporting loan officers in prescreening borrowers, and ensuring compliance with relevant banking regulations.
