As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Screening Analyst in Westlake, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Screener at a financial institution location, you will support access control by screening visitors, verifying badges, monitoring entry points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service while helping to maintain a welcoming environment for employees and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen persons and belongings entering the financial institution location in accordance with established procedures, escalating prohibited items, suspicious activity, and access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Verify credentials, visitor authorization, and entry requirements while maintaining accurate records and protecting confidential information.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned screening areas, business spaces, and the perimeter, reporting security-related concerns and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
