Job Details Japanese Bilingual Accounting Agent – Springfield Gardens, NY Position: Japanese Bilingual Accounting Agent Industry: Logistics Location: Springfield Gardens, NY Salary: 52K + (DOE) Status: Full Time/Direct Hire Work Style: Office Ref #: #33501 Responsibilities Verify invoices, accounting records, and resolve discrepancies with staff, vendors, and customers Maintain journals, general ledgers, accounts payable, and other financial records Enter and update accounting transactions accurately in the company’s system Process check and ACH payments, update disbursement lists, and use Positive Pay Monitor bank activity and assist branches with payment and accounting issues Prepare bank and duty reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly closing activities Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and review Balance Sheet accounts Update fixed and leased asset records and provide training or support as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent with basic English and math skills Able to organize and prepare documents from different sources Familiar with office procedures, accounting software, and technology Proficient in Excel and knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs Able to apply math skills and understand relevant government regulations, including IRS, DOT, and Customs Japanese language skills are a strong plus and highly preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Top-Us
