Registered Nurse - CVICU

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled CVICU Night Travel RN to provide specialized critical care for cardiac and general ICU patients. This role requires adaptability to handle diverse patient needs and work effectively in a low-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to CVICU patients, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols.
• Float between CVICU and general ICU based on census and acuity levels.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, reporting changes promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Comply with all travel and facility-specific policies, including drug screening requirements.
• Maintain all licensing, certifications, and compliance documentation current and available.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid RN license and relevant state certification.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of recent ICU experience, including CVICU.
• Be competent in caring for both CVICU and general ICU patients.
• Be willing to work 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotation.
• Have current BLS, ACLS certification; NIHSS preferred.
• Able to meet Tier 2 travel compliance requirements.
