Our client is a well-established, industry-leading company in biosolids management, composting, and organics recycling, with decades of experience helping municipalities, industrial partners, and private-sector customers turn organic waste into high-quality compost. The Role

We are seeking a Regional Intake Manager to oversee and grow customer intake volumes across a large Northeast territory. This is not a traditional outside sales role — it's a relationship and account management position focused on managing existing customer accounts, coordinating intake volumes with plant operations, and identifying new intake opportunities in biosolids, organics, and composting markets. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, leadership, and customers.

What You'll Do

● Manage and grow relationships with municipal, industrial, and private-sector customers

● Identify and develop new intake opportunities across biosolids, organics, and composting markets

● Coordinate closely with operations to align incoming volumes with plant processing capacity

● Support pricing discussions, contract renewals, and RFP responses

● Track and report on market conditions, disposal trends, transportation costs, and competitive activity

● Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline tracking, and account reporting

● Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings

● Support customer retention and account growth through strong service and communication

What We're Looking For

● 5+ years of experience in biosolids, composting, organics recycling, waste management, or a related field

● Experience managing municipal and/or industrial customer accounts

● Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-management skills

● Comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal teams

● Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office

● Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory

Nice to Have

● Existing relationships within wastewater, environmental services, or recycling sectors

● Familiarity with transportation logistics and disposal markets

● Experience with RFPs, contract negotiation, and strategic account management
