Business Operations Associate

As a Business Operations Associate at Molten Cloud, you will work directly with the CEO, gaining hands‑on experience in what it takes to operate and scale a fast‑growing startup. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and is passionate about driving efficiency and impact. From HR and hiring to billing, sales commissions, marketing operations, and offsites, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the business runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities HR & Hiring Manage hiring processes, including sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and onboarding new team members. Apply creative methods to source quality candidates. Administer employee benefits and maintain compliance with HR policies. Serve as the go‑to resource for HR‑related inquiries and employee support. Oversee sales commissions and incentive tracking, ensuring timely and accurate payments. Support sales pipeline management, CRM optimization, and reporting. Assist in marketing operations, including campaign tracking, lead generation support, and event coordination. Finance & Billing Manage customer billing cycles, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely payments, and, as needed, answering questions from customers. Track expenses, assist with budgeting, and coordinate with finance teams to maintain financial health. Support accountant in monthly books closing (e.g. expenses, receipts). Analyze data to identify process improvements and cost‑saving opportunities. General Operations Plan and execute team offsites, meetings, and events to build culture and collaboration. Create and refine internal processes to improve operational efficiency across departments. Collaborate cross‑functionally to solve problems and support high‑priority initiatives. Ideally you have an accounting background. CPA is a plus. Qualifications 0–5 years of experience in operations, business administration, HR, finance, or related fields. Experience in a startup or fast‑paced environment is a plus. Accounting or finance background is not required but is a plus. Proficiency with spreadsheets, CRM tools, and project management software.
