ServiceNow DeveloperThe ServiceNow Developer is responsible for understanding, designing, developing, configuring, updating, and maintaining modular, reusable solutions on the ServiceNow platform in support of HCHB business initiatives. This role partners closely with platform owners, architects, administrators, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and user-focused solutions across ITSM, CSM, and related ServiceNow capabilities.The ideal candidate combines strong platform development experience with modern AI-assisted development practices, including the ability to leverage ServiceNow AI capabilities, automation tooling, and agentic AI products, to accelerate delivery and improve solution quality. This role requires strong collaboration skills, adaptability, and a continuous learning mindset to support the evolving ServiceNow ecosystem.Job Description / Responsibilities:Align ServiceNow platform capabilities to business strategy and ServiceNow roadmapDevelop, test, and implement new capabilities on the ServiceNow platformAssist with ServiceNow upgrades, action skipped changes, and create/run testsStay current on ServiceNow products and applicable integrated technologiesExpertise and Experience:3+ years as a ServiceNow Developer with experience developing in the following areas:ITSM: Incident, Problem, Change, Service CatalogService PortalsFlow Designer, Workflow, Virtual Agent Topics, Integration HubApplication integrations using APIs, web services, scripts, transform maps, etc.Scoped ApplicationsScripting in ServiceNowTest Management and ATFITOM: Event Management, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping1+ years as member of an Agile, Scrum, or Kanban teamBroad general knowledge of IT infrastructure topology including typical application, server, and networking configurationsKnowledge of the ITIL framework especially as it pertains to the CMDB model and governanceComprehension of the ServiceNow CSDM modelExperience designing and deploying AI solutions on and off the ServiceNow platform, with strong AI prompt engineering skillsStrong communication skills that include the ability to write clearly and conciselyKnowledge of database fundamentalsAdditional Preferred Experience (Not Required):CSM: Case Management, Agent Workspace, CommunitiesPerformance Analytics, DashboardsWorkspacesReportingActive Directory/PowerShellTransform MapsAI Control TowerEducation / Certification / Training:Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience)ServiceNow System AdministrationAny of the following certifications are a plus:ServiceNow Certified Application DeveloperITIL FoundationsServiceNow Discovery FundamentalsServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – DiscoveryServiceNow Advanced System AdministrationScripting in ServiceNowCCNA or equivalentMCSA, RHCSA (Microsoft, RedHat)About UsHomecare Homebase, a subsidiary of Hearst Corporation is a market leader in healthcare software development providing mobile cloud-based solutions for clinical, operational, and financial improvement of homecare and hospice agencies throughout the United States.
