Associate Merchant

Support supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders for assigned categories Assist merchants with supplier issue resolution and new supplier setup for stores and online Execute customer communication and education programs with cross-functional teams Maintain accurate product page content and manage search query rules Track category financial performance, support forecasting, and contribute to budgeting Develop and implement feature proposals and modular assortment strategies across channels Use data analysis tools to generate insights and support decision-making Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal partners Collaborate with merchants, planners, and modular teams to drive business results and improve product assortment Requirements 2 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area Proven experience in vendor and supplier relationship management, including negotiation and purchase order administration Strong skills in category strategy development and execution Ability to analyze sales and market trends Proficiency in data analysis and business analysis Experience supporting forecasting, budgeting, and performance trackingEffective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work Knowledge of e-commerce management and product assortment Ability to manage projects and implement business solutions aligned with organizational goals Preferred: Microsoft Office, negotiating with third-party suppliers, pricing, site merchandising, planning or inventory, or related area Preferred: Bachelors in Business or Merchandising Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in supplier negotiation, purchase order management, and category strategy development.
