Business Operations Specialist

Payrate: $42.75 - $42.75/hr. The main function of a business operations specialist is to maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level. Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics, and budget. The business operations specialist usually reports to a project manager or director. Responsibilities include:

• Partner with internal distribution partners to coordinate shipments and escalations.
• Perform data analytics on the inventory flow of materials from production through third-party warehouse vendors.
• Work with the Financial Strategy team to manage all inventory at the third-party vendor warehouse and perform device inventory tracking for all retail display locations using Warehouse Management System.
• Support and streamline forward and reverse logistics.
• Complete adhoc audits of all samples in consolidator's inventory.
• Drive Retail Supply Chain's innovation efforts, managing those projects from initiation to close.
• Prepare weekly executive reports detailing the status of open projects/initiatives.
• Leverage PPT & Excel proficiency to translate detailed information into brief and clear executive updates in e-mail and dashboard reporting.
• Utilize dashboards & tableau to provide decision makers on demand data.
• Establish and maintain communication services across business units or from the project team to the organization.
• Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics.
• Review contracts, cost proposals, and contract supplements.
• Establish and document business processes.
• Set up project and work breakdown structures.
• Track project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls and costs against budgets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in business management, economics, finance, accounting or a relevant field.
• 3 years of experience in Business Operations, Financial Operations, or Supply Chain Management.
• Demonstrated experience in navigating cross-functional teams.
• Mobile industry or consumer electronics retail experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced to expert proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, & Tableau.

• Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $42.75 - $42.75/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
