Respiratory Care Practitioner - Providence Anchorage

Description The Respiratory Therapist provides services to patients in the NICU / PICU as prescribed by Physicians / NNPs in conjunction with established policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. She/He is responsible for assessing the patient's respiratory status and recommending appropriate therapies. She/He implements therapies and evaluates patient response to therapeutic interventions. The Respiratory Therapist accepts and promotes professional development as an integral part of practice. She/He will assess, analyze, customize, coordinate and communicate the patient's plan of care and actively collaborate with other members of the health care team. Required Qualifications National Registered Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire, or National Certified Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire. 5 years experience in pediatrics respiratory therapy. Pay Range The amounts listed are the base pay range: $37.45 - $58.14. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
