Emergency Room - Registered Nurse

Schedule: Nights (3x12 typical; guaranteed 36 hours/week for 3x12s)

Assignment Details: Patient volume: ~127 visits/day ER beds: 38

Requirements: Minimum 2 years RN experience required Travel experience required Pending license accepted: Yes Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS (BLS), NIH (NIHSS), PALS Preferred: CPI, TNCC Experience in emergency triage and management across age groups Airway management/intubation, ventilator care Cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia recognition, STEMI and stroke processes IV starts/maintenance, blood product administration, IV vasopressors Basic trauma procedures familiarity, procedural sedation Management of behavioral/psychiatric holds

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Department for patients of all ages. Assess and triage patient conditions to determine the level of care required. Administer medications and treatments according to protocols and physician orders. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and healthcare needs.
