Technology Transactions and Licensing Associate Mid Level

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level Technology Transactions and Licensing Associate for its San Diego office. The successful candidate will work with startups, growth-stage companies, and global enterprises on complex transactions and product launches. Duties Advise clients on commercial and licensing agreements. Provide counsel on intellectual property matters. Assist with product counseling, particularly in cloud computing and software. Draft and negotiate contracts related to IT procurement and supply chain. Engage in transactions involving semiconductors and AI/machine learning. Requirements 3-5 years of relevant experience at a law firm or in-house legal department. Deep knowledge of intellectual property and commercial contract law. Familiarity with data privacy regulations and open source license frameworks. Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple client demands in a fast-paced environment. Entrepreneurial mindset and team-oriented approach. Education J.D. from an accredited law school. Certifications Active membership in good standing with the bar. Skills Technical background or experience in cloud computing, semiconductor, hardware, AI, and cybersecurity sectors preferred.
