Seeking a qualified CT Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The role involves operating CT equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic CT scans following physician orders and safety protocols.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and explaining the process.
- Operate and calibrate CT equipment to produce clear images for diagnostic purposes.
- Adhere to hospital policies, including infection control and radiation safety standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnosis.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- ARRT (CT) certification required.
- Valid state or compact license in radiologic technology required.
- Minimum of 2 years of radiologic experience, with 3 years preferred.
- Strong knowledge of EPIC or other electronic health record systems.
- Ability to work 3 days a week, 12-hour day shifts, with flexibility for floating within the hospital.
- Must include two recent professional references and a copy of COVID vaccination card upon submission.
