Data Scientist - Mobile

The OpportunityDigital Media Data Science and Analytics team is looking for a seasoned Data Scientist to drive the rapid growing mobile business.This is a hybrid role of data science and strategy. In this role, you will demonstrate your data science skill and machine learning techniques to generate actionable data-driven recommendations to empower mobile business across full funnel of customer journey (acquisition, monetization, engagement and retention)The ideal candidate will be a ‘self-starter’ with outstanding quantitative analytical skill, superb business intuition, fantastic communication skill, and most importantly, the ability to use analytics to drive/influence business decision making.What you will doApply expertise in quantitative analysis and data modeling to gain deep insights into customers behaviors/journey across surfaces, short and long-term trend, and present impactful recommendations to grow the businessActing as a thought partner to the GTM business leads, Sales, PM, PMM, and other partners and influence decisions through the storytelling of data-driven recommendations, analysis, and experiment resultsIdentify the business opportunities, build the use cases, and recommend data science initiatives to unlock the business that will inform our data science plan and data driven product roadmapUsing data science models to tackle critical business challenges and drive recurring, scalable, and programmatic business unlocksRecommend testing ideas based on the analysisWhat you need to succeedBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in quantitative fields, e.g., Computer Science, Math/Statistics, Economics, Physics. MBA or a master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred3-5 years hands-on experience doing quantitative analysis in tech or management consultingStrong proficiency in querying and manipulating volumes of data sets for analytical purposes using SQL-like languagesDemonstrable experience using quantitative analysis/statistical modeling on data sets to tackle intricate business problemsPhenomenal at telling stories with data and communicating it to partners at all levels to influence critical decision makingExperience building and training statistical/data science modelsExperience with statistics in SaaS or Subscription Business model environment, mobile analytics related experience preferred.Experience in using AI tool is highly preferredExperience in Data Visualization tools, preferably, Tableau and Power BIA fast learner with desire to learn new thingsAbout AdobeAdobe empowers everyone to create through innovative platforms and tools that unleash creativity, productivity and personalized customer experiences. The U.S. pay range for this position is $109,000 -- $200,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In California, the pay range for this position is $138,600 - $200,700 At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
