Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations by reviewing patients' medical histories and performing physical assessments to identify movement dysfunctions.
• Consult with patients to understand their physical conditions and symptoms, ensuring a comprehensive approach to their rehabilitation.
• Develop individualized and evidence-based treatment plans designed to foster optimal recovery and enhance mobility.
• Educate patients on therapeutic exercises, demonstrating the proper techniques to promote healing and strengthen their physical capabilities.
• Provide hands-on treatment modalities, including stimulation and massage, as well as assist patients in using mobility equipment such as wheelchairs or walkers.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records, tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, ensuring inter-disciplinary communication to provide holistic patient care.
• Offer guidance and support to patients and their families regarding in-home exercises and treatment plans, fostering independence and long-term wellness.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate Degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with a strong background in orthopedic therapy.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and tracking progress.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings, particularly dealing with orthopedic injuries.

Compensation and Benefits
