Accounts Payable Staff Accountant

To Apply for this Job Click Here Staff Accountant (Accounts Payable) - Burlington, MA Our client, a stable organization within the distribution and supply chain industry, is seeking a Staff Accountant with a focus on Accounts Payable to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role will be responsible for managing invoice processing, supporting financial reporting activities, maintaining accurate accounting records, and assisting with month-end close functions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

• Process and review invoices to ensure timely and accurate payment activities
• Maintain accounts payable records and assist with account reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end accounting processes
• Prepare and enter financial transactions into the accounting system
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams and vendors
• Generate reports and maintain supporting documentation for accounting activities
• Assist with financial compliance, audit preparation, and internal control procedures
  Qualifications
  • 2+ years of accounting, accounts payable, or related finance experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
  • Experience working with ERP or accounting systems; Epicor P21 experience is a plus
