Operations Support Specialist

Job Details: Job Location: Versacourt - Dalton, GA, Salary Range: $15.00 - $17.00Hourly, Job Summary: The Operations Support Specialist is primarily responsible for accurate and timely preparation, review, and maintenance of production packets throughout the order process. This position ensures all required order information and documentation is complete and accurate before being released to production. The position also serves as a backup resource for the overall Operations office, providing coverage and administrative support as needed to maintain workflow and continuity. Additional support includes backup communication with Sales and carrier correspondence related to shipments, pickups, delivery updates, and transportation documentation. Prepare, review, and organize production packets, ensuring all required information and documentation is complete and accurate. Review order details, specifications, quantities, shipping requirements, and customer requirements necessary for packet preparation. Identify missing, conflicting, or unclear information and obtain clarification before packets are released to production. Maintain and update production packets when order information or requirements change. Communicate packet changes, discrepancies, and concerns to the appropriate Operations team members. Serve as backup support for communication between Sales and Operations, including responding to questions, obtaining missing information, and communicating order updates when needed. Assist with carrier correspondence, including pickup coordination, shipment status requests, delivery updates, documentation requests, and routine transportation communication. Serve as backup support for the overall Operations office, assisting with essential day-to-day administrative and operational functions during absences, increased workload, or other coverage needs. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to packets, order communication, and carrier correspondence. Escalate issues outside the scope or authority of the position to the appropriate Operations team member or Operations Manager. Responsible for additional duties and accountabilities that will be assigned as needed. Qualifications: Required Skills/Abilities: Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong organizational and document-management skills. Ability to review detailed order information and identify discrepancies. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate professionally with Sales, Operations, and external carriers. Ability to prioritize multiple packets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong follow-through and ability to independently track outstanding information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicable order-management systems. Previous experience in operations support, order processing, logistics, production coordination, or a similar administrative role preferred.
