Role Description The Director of Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Dalton, GA, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities across production, fulfillment, logistics, and support functions. This role leads and develops operations teams, sets performance standards, and ensures workflows, processes, and resources are optimized for efficiency, quality, and safety. The Director of Operations monitors operational metrics, analyzes data, and implements improvements in areas such as capacity planning, cost control, and process automation. The position collaborates closely with sales, customer service, and project management to align operations with client requirements and service-level expectations. The role also manages budgets, supports strategic planning, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and operational reliability. Qualifications Strong Knowledge of the flooring industry as well as samples and POP Display Strong Operations Management experience, including process optimization, resource planning, and workflow design. Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting data, tracking KPIs, and making informed, data-driven decisions. Proven Team Management capabilities, including coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration. Budgeting expertise, including cost control, forecasting, and financial planning within an operations environment. Customer Service orientation, with experience supporting client-facing teams and maintaining high service standards. Experience in print, packaging, fulfillment, logistics, or related industries is highly beneficial. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
