Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 13-week day-shift assignment requiring an active PT license and BLS certification.

May require floating to clinically appropriate units within scope of practice, licensure, and demonstrated competencies

Requirements

Active Physical Therapy license in the state of practice (or compact eligibility) required if applicable

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient experience preferred

Current BLS certification required

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to new environments quickly

Additional Information

Evaluate, diagnose, and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopedic conditions

Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve patients' physical function and quality of life

Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure continuity of care

Document all patient interactions accurately and timely per facility and regulatory standards

Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to support ongoing recovery at home

Maintain a safe, clean, and positive clinical environment

Hours per week: 40
