Join the team at Russellville Hospital as a Charge Nurse (RN) and help lead a high-performing Medical-Surgical unit during overnight shifts.

What You’ll Do

As a Charge RN, you’ll combine clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily unit operations during your shift
  
• Assign and support nursing staff based on patient acuity and workflow to ensure smooth flow of operations
  
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards
  
• Manage admissions, discharges, and patient flow
  
• Serve as a mentor, clinical resource, and leader for the nursing team
  
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care initiatives
  
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care
  

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  
• Current Alabama RN license or Multi-State Compact RN license
  
• BLS certification required
  
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
  
• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg or acute care nursing experience
  
• Previous Charge Nurse or leadership experience
  
• PALS certification preferred
