Position Overview

Schedule: Full-TimeDay and Night Shifts AvailablePRN

As a CNA on the Med-Surg unit, you will play a vital role in supporting nurses and caring for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Your work directly contributes to patient comfort, safety, recovery, and the overall success of the care team in a dynamic hospital setting.

What You'll Do

• Assist patients with activities ofdaily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Monitor and accurately record vitalsigns, intake/output, and other patient information
• Support admissions, discharges, andpatient transfers throughout the unit
• Assist with ambulation,repositioning, and fall prevention measures
• Provide post-operative care supportby monitoring patient comfort and reporting concerns
• Maintain clean, organized, and safepatient rooms and clinical areas
• Respond promptly andcompassionately to call lights and patient needs
• Observe and report changes inpatient condition to the RN or care team
• Assist with specimen collection andtransport following protocol
• Follow infection control, safety,and hospital policies at all times
• Deliver exceptional,patient-centered care in a fast-paced Med-Surg environment

What We're Looking For

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)certification required (or equivalent experience)
• Previous experience in a hospitalor Med-Surg setting preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS)certification preferred
• Strong communication and teamworkskills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced,high-acuity environment

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking,bending, and lifting
