Dietary Aide – Fountain View

Fountain View is seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our dining services team. The Dietary Aide plays a vital role in supporting resident satisfaction by assisting with meal preparation, service, and maintaining a clean, safe dining environment.

Primary Responsibilities – Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide supports daily food service operations by assisting with meal service and maintaining cleanliness standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist with meal preparation and tray assembly

• Serve meals to residents in the dining room and/or resident rooms

• Ensure proper portioning and presentation of food items

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment

• Follow sanitation, infection control, and food safety guidelines

• Assist with dishwashing and cleanup after meals

• Communicate respectfully with residents and team members

Dietary Aide Expectations

• Treat residents, families, and coworkers with dignity and respect

• Follow all Fountain View policies and procedures

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Work collaboratively as part of the dietary and interdisciplinary team

• Complete assigned duties efficiently and reliably

Job Requirements – Dietary Aide

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous dietary or food service experience preferred, but not required

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices

• ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
