Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, focused on surgical procedures. Reporting to the Nurse Manager or Director, the OR Nurse coordinates patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

• Required Qualifications:
  • Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina
  • One (1) year of nursing experience
  • Current and active Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification completed through AWHONN or GE
  • Ability to circulate for C-sections and triage for OB
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NRP certifications
