Ultrasound Technologist - Maternal Fetal Medicine

Description

Performs all the essential functions of the Registered Sonographer. Performs and evaluates sonographic examinations. Obtains clinical history and performs a physical assessment of the patient‘s condition to determine appropriate testing protocol. Provides a technical interpretation of sonographic and physiologic data to aid physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program (or Certification with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 9 months Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn including clinical rotation

Preferred Qualifications:

• 9 months Ultrasound coursework experience in Breast, Vascular including clinical rotation
