Location: Holiday Inn Express & Suites Indianapolis W - Airport Area | 5855 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46224 Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience Contact: Mr. Alex | View phone number on click.appcast.io Position Summary The Ghoman Group is seeking a professional and organized Human Resource to oversee human resources operations, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, compliance, and employee development. The ideal candidate will be a people-focused HR professional who can work closely with hotel leadership and employees to maintain a positive, professional, and productive workplace. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee-related matters. Lead recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes. Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation. Coordinate new-hire orientation and employee training programs. Support managers with employee relations, performance management, and workplace concerns. Assist with payroll, attendance, scheduling, and employee timekeeping processes. Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Handle employee questions regarding company policies, benefits, payroll, and workplace procedures. Monitor employee performance reviews and assist managers with corrective actions when necessary. Support employee retention and engagement initiatives. Coordinate benefits administration and communicate benefit information to employees. Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information. Assist with workplace investigations and resolution of employee concerns. Prepare HR reports and provide management with recommendations regarding staffing and employee matters. Partner with hotel leadership to maintain a professional and positive work environment. Qualifications 3+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred. Strong knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration. Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to handle confidential information professionally. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems. Key Skills Previous hotel or hospitality HR experience preferred.
