Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support clinical procedures, and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the PCU.
  • Monitor patient conditions and execute care plans based on assessments.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to educate them on health care plans.
  • Perform ECG rhythm recognition and participate in safeMedicate assessments during orientation.

Shifts

This position requires night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown.
  • Valid and unrestricted Ohio nursing license or compact state license is required.
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
  • Must successfully complete the ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation.
