Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a challenging role in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in providing high-quality patient care in step-down settings.

Job Details

• Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Shift: Night Shift - 3x12 Hour Shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
• Schedule: Every other holiday

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor patient health status.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and manage safe medication practices.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care processes.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in a Progressive Care Unit/Stepdown setting.
• Must possess a Permanent Ohio License or Compact State License in hand.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Successful completion of an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during the orientation period is required.
