Job Responsibilities
- Develop Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess patient requirements and create personalized therapy plans to facilitate the achievement of their functional ambitions.
- Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply proven therapeutic methods to enhance patients' mobility, cognitive function, and daily tasks.
- Collaborate with Diverse Healthcare Teams: Work hand in hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure well-rounded, holistic patient care.
- Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction on therapy techniques to empower patients and their caregivers for continued progress on their own.
- Track and Adjust Patient Progress: Monitor rehabilitation outcomes and make necessary adjustments to ensure each patient stays on their path to recovery.
- Hold a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are valued and encouraged.
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
