NATURE OF WORK

The supervisor oversees the environmental operation directly responsible for promoting a clean and efficient process for the assigned account . Acts as a direct liaison between the client and staff .

EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Directly responsibleto ensure the clients requests are assigned to personnel and completedin a timely mannerdaily Supervises work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure a clean environment Assigns workers their duties, and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness Must handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc . Must comply withall regulations such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, etc. Plans work schedule for major tasks. Issues supplies and equipment to workers. Investigates complaintsregardinghousekeeping service andequipment andtakes corrective action. Conducts in-service training of assigned employees to explain company policies, housekeeping work procedures, and todemonstrateuse and maintenance of equipment. Attends training seminars to perfect housekeeping techniques andprocedures andenhance supervisory skills. Records data concerning work assignments, personnel actions, andtimecards, and prepares periodic reports. Attends periodic staff meetings with other department heads to discuss company policies and patrons' complaints, and to make recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation. Performsadditionalduties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. Knowledge of telephone protocol. Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills. Use of smart phone Ability to send email communications Ability to develop field procedures Ability to prepare andmaintaineffective working relationships with other employees and the general public .

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of at least 2 yearsprevioussupervisory experience Bi-lingual in English and Spanish, or Creole

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position demands good physical and mental health The housekeeper supervisor willbe requiredto lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and work a flexible schedule. Must be able to move continuously during work hours Must be able to lift and/or carry 30 to 45 pounds

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

General supervision is received from an account manager who confers on difficult problems and reviews completed work for quality of professional results. Tasks are usually performed under little direct supervision allowing use of independent judgment

SUPERVISION EXERCISED
