You will perform routine and specialized cleaning tasks while ensuring that facilities stay safe and ready for daily use. As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform the following duties:Floor Care: Perform routine and advanced floor cleaning including washing, buffing, refinishing, shampooing, and extractingSurface Cleaning: Dust and clean office areas, hallways, restrooms, furnishings, and equipmentRestroom Maintenance: Wash fixtures, replenish supplies, and report issues such as leaks or damaged lightingTrash Handling: Collect and transport trash and recycling materials to designated pick-up pointsEquipment Use: Select proper cleaning agents and maintain cleaning equipment through minor repairs and proper careOutdoor Upkeep: Sweep exterior entrances and sidewalks and remove snow and ice as neededWork Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute paid breaks.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
