We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our food services team at Nexus of Alton. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our residents by preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks. Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks to residents
Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas
Maintain accurate records of food temperatures, inventory, and resident meal choices
Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and prepare special diets and meals
Support residents with special dietary needs and preferences
Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff
Requirements:
0 years of experience in dietary or food services
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Basic knowledge of food preparation and presentation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
