Roof Service Technician Full Time Manual Labor Sarasota, FL, US 4 days ago Requisition ID: 1424 Salary Range: $18.00 To $25.00 Hourly Join Our Team We are seeking a dependable and experienced Roofing Service Technician to join our growing team in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. This position performs roof inspections, repairs, preventative maintenance, leak investigations, and service work on commercial and residential roofing systems. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, customer-focused, and able to troubleshoot roofing issues and work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and repair roofing issues, including leaks and storm damage. Perform preventative maintenance and service repairs on commercial and residential roofing systems. Troubleshoot and identify the source of roof leaks and other roofing problems. Document findings with photographs and detailed service reports. Communicate professionally with customers regarding findings, repairs, and recommendations. Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to job sites. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Complete work orders accurately and on time. Assist with emergency service calls when needed. Qualifications Roofing experience preferred; roofing service and repair experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of common commercial and residential roofing systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work safely at heights and in Florida weather conditions. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Employment Requirements Clean criminal background. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in our drug-free workplace program. Authorization to work in the United States.
