Workers Compensation Defense Attorney

Role Workers' Compensation Enhanced Medical Only Representative Responsibilities Handle low complexity workers' compensation medical-only claims by investigating, evaluating, and negotiating to resolve cases. Communicate effectively with injured workers, medical providers, agents, vendors, and legal teams via phone and written correspondence. Review and approve medical treatments and bills, maintain active file diaries, and ensure compliance with workers' compensation laws and company policies. Assist in claim setup, investigation, coverage confirmation, and monitor Medicare reporting. Provide exceptional customer service and support daily operations as directed. Qualifications & Skills College degree or equivalent experience preferred. 1-2 years claims or customer service experience beneficial. Ability to obtain necessary state adjuster licenses. Strong communication, investigation, negotiation, and organizational skills. Adherence to regulations and company best practices essential.
