About Project MARS
Project MARS (Medical Association of Research and Science) is a student-led nonprofit dedicated to making research opportunities more accessible to high school students regardless of their background, location, or financial circumstances.
Through mentorship, educational programming, research support, workshops, and outreach initiatives, MARS helps students explore research and STEM fields while building the skills needed to pursue future academic and professional opportunities.
As we continue to expand nationally, we are seeking motivated student leaders to join our Executive Board and help shape the next phase of the organization's growth.
Open Positions
We are currently recruiting for: Director of Academics to support curriculum development, research education initiatives, and student mentorship programs while helping maintain the quality of MARS's academic offerings.
Additional leadership opportunities may also be available based on applicant interests and experience.
What We're Looking For
We welcome applicants who are:
- Passionate about education, research, and STEM accessibility
- Strong communicators and collaborators
- Willing to take initiative and lead projects
- Excited to contribute to a growing national nonprofit
- Able to commit approximately 3–5 hours per week
Prior leadership experience is helpful but not required. High school students, college students, and recent graduates with an interest in education, research, and nonprofit leadership are encouraged to apply.
