Job Title: Commercial Roofing Estimator/Project Manager

Location: Tampa, FL (must reside within the Tampa region)

Compensation: $95K-$110K DOE + bonus + benefits

Tiello has partnered with an established Commercial Roofing Contractor out of Tampa, FL in their search for an experienced Estimating/Project Management professional to add to their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the Tampa commercial re-roofing market, with the ability to estimate, sell, and manage roofing projects effectively.

This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality roofing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate quantity take-offs and physical measurements.
• Interpret and comprehend roofing and sheet metal specifications.
• Prepare detailed and professional estimates considering materials and labor.
• Manage multiple commercial roofing projects ensuring timely and quality completion.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and team members for clear communication.
• Review and ratify contracts, ensuring understanding and adherence to terms.
• Stay updated on Florida-approved roof installations and building code requirements.
• Perform and evaluate physical test cuts when assessing existing roof assemblies.
• Manage material price shopping and purchase orders in collaboration with accounting.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in Florida commercial roofing estimating and sales, with proven success and references.
• Proficiency in scaled drawing take-offs and physical measurements.
• Strong understanding of roofing and sheet metal specifications.
• Experience with contract review and ratification.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel spreadsheets, estimating software (e.g., The Edge), and email correspondence.
• Ability to articulate thoughts clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Good physical condition to perform duties and maintain a professional appearance.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test, M.V.R driver's license check, and criminal background check.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in public bidding and/or general contractor new construction projects.
• Familiarity with Florida Product Approvals and building code requirements.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus. xhyhwjd
