Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay: $17/hour
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Work Setting: Fully Onsite

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Quality Specialist for a fully onsite, contract-to-hire opportunity on the west side of Indianapolis . This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and committed to maintaining high standards across production and fulfillment operations.

The Quality Specialist will play a key role in supporting product accuracy, identifying defects, maintaining documentation, and helping improve quality processes from start to finish. This person will work closely with multiple departments to ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and according to established standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections throughout the production process as well as final quality checks before completion
  
• Review printed materials, finished products, packaging, and related components for accuracy and consistency
  
• Verify job specifications such as counts, trims, folds, finishing details, and overall presentation
  
• Audit data-driven jobs for accuracy, version control, and compliance requirements
  
• Maintain quality records, inspection documents, and nonconformance reports
  
• Support material traceability and proper documentation throughout the workflow
  
• Assist with corrective action processes by identifying root causes and helping implement solutions
  
• Track and report quality metrics including rework, waste, on-time completion, and customer-related issues
  
• Help improve work instructions, standard operating procedures, and internal quality processes
  
• Partner with operations, customer support, and project teams to clarify specifications and prevent errors
  
• Provide guidance to team members on quality checkpoints, documentation, and safe handling practices
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quality assurance , quality control , or a related production/manufacturing environment preferred
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies or defects quickly
  
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with multiple priorities
  
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
  
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments
  
• Experience with process improvement or corrective action procedures is a plus
  
• Print, production, packaging, mailing, or fulfillment experience is helpful but not required
  
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
