OVERVIEW:Under the general supervision of the Quality Manager, the Quality Auditor - Production, performs routine tests and inspections to verify and document quality and consistency in all products manufactured in RS production facilities. As a member of the RS team, this position will support an organizational culture that cares for other's well-being through best practices in health and safety, in addition to the company's values of respect, integrity, quality, teamwork and professional growth.RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform quality measurements and review of modulesWork with production operators in controlling qualityMaintains plant safety and help maintain plant cleanlinessCoordinate and maintain proper workflowDocument inspection resultsEnsure non-conforming product is not used without approvalMay need to perform tests in lab on resinAssist in collecting module samples for evaluationMaintain both electronic and hard copies of quality recordsInform Quality Manager of any discrepancies in tests or inspectionsCommunicate and work with supervisors and technical staff on production issuesOther duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Quality ManagerTRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or equivalent experienceOne to three years' experience within a Quality role in a production environmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of Excel an assePhysical RequirementsThe physical requirements listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate computers, equipment, and tools.Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and occasional kneeling or crouching, as required.Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and work safely in the assigned work environment.Working ConditionsIndustrial manufacturing environment.Exposure to hot and humid conditions.Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and other physically demanding tasks.Regular interaction with heavy machinery, powered industrial equipment, and moving mechanical parts.Exposure to production materials, including limited interaction with manufacturing chemicals while following all required safety procedures and PPE requirements.What's in It for YouComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage through Cigna.401(k) retirement plan with a company match of up to 5%.Paid time off and company holidays.A collaborative team environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Why RS?At RS Technologies, we are redefining the future of utility infrastructure.
