Registration Specialist

Job Description As a Registration Specialist, you will facilitate excellent patient care by supporting and collaborating with the clinic team. You will provide customer service when greeting patients and family, collecting their information, and completing any other pre‑visit needs. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Greets and communicates with patients and visitors in a caring and respectful manner. Completes patient registration process and check‑in by verifying demographics and insurance information, collecting payments and co‑payments, providing intake paperwork, and receiving patient requests for completing paperwork and obtaining medical records. Assumes day‑to‑day accountability for the delivery of quality services through consistent application of policies, procedures, protocols, and standards. Collaborates with other care team members and anticipates their needs to ensure coordinated patient care. Assists with ongoing quality improvement to provide efficient, cost‑effective care. Engages in continuous education and training to maintain skills, knowledge, and competency to complete functions of role. May be pulled to work at other CHC sites based on clinic and patient needs. All other duties as assigned. Desired/Required Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: Preferred one year experience in an outpatient physician practice or healthcare setting.
