District Sales Manager - Bone Health - Kansas City, KS

Amgen seeks a District Sales Manager for Bone Health covering Kansas City and surrounding regions. The role involves leading sales teams, managing district performance, and serving as a clinical liaison to healthcare providers for Amgen's therapeutic products.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage district sales teams to achieve performance and budget targets
- Screen, interview, and hire qualified sales representatives for the district
- Track marketing program progress and provide resource allocation feedback to teams
- Conduct district sales meetings and develop relationships with local opinion leaders
- Perform performance reviews, competency assessments, and cross-functional coordination
Requirements
- Doctorate degree with 2+ years sales/marketing experience, OR Master's with 6+ years, OR Bachelor's with 8+ years, OR Associate's with 10+ years, OR High school diploma with 12+ years
- 2+ years direct managerial experience managing people or leading teams and programs
- Ability to understand and articulate clinical concepts and product data
- Strong coaching and performance management skills for team development
- Experience recruiting and hiring sales representatives
- Specialty sales experience and biologics knowledge preferred
