Overview
Occupational Therapist - Acute Care in Havre, MT. Start 08/05/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment, nights shift, with a weekly pay range of $2,369–$2,406 and guaranteed 36 hours per week in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities
- Organize and conduct medically prescribed Occupational Therapy programs to guide individuals in improving quality of life following injury, disease, or loss of a body part, with consideration to gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs.
- Provide OT services across care continuum, including outpatient hands-float to the acute setting, with modality endorsement as required by MT guidelines.
- Assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, implement therapy, monitor progress, and adjust goals to optimize function and independence.
- Document assessments, progress notes, and discharge planning in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, physicians, PT, case management) to coordinate care, set realistic goals, and support safe transitions to next care setting or discharge.
- Educate patients and families on home programs, activity modification, safety, and spacing of visits to support ongoing recovery and outcomes.

Requirements
- MT license to practice occupational therapy (active)
- Graduate of an AOTA-accredited occupational therapy education program
- Modality endorsement per MT Guidelines
- Experience in outpatient OT with hands-on work and float to acute care settings
- Ability to work the listed night shift and perform duties in an acute care environment
- Note: In-state travelers will not be considered unless residing more than 250 miles from the facility
